Evolution Volleyball Youth Skills Academy
The Evolution Youth Skills Academy is a fun way to introduce the game of volleyball to new players and to help more experience players develop and improve their skill set. The academy is a great introduction to club volleyball as well as a great introduction to the Evolution Volleyball Academy experience. Players will participate in fun yet challenging drills that will allow them to consistently improve.
The Academy places particular focus on the 8th grade player who is planning on trying out for their high school freshman team in August. With the growing number of girls participating in the high school tryout process players can find themselves being 1 out of 70 to 100 participants. The Skills Academy provides players with the training to better prepare them for the stress of the tryout process.
The academy caps registrations at 24 players (12 in each group) as we focus on giving each player the individual attention they require to succeed. Our Master coaches provide a positive, fun, and challenging environment where players are encouraged to make as many mistakes necessary during their process of improvement. Because we believe that mistakes are opportunities to learn how to succeed our players develop a strong fearless attitude when playing.

Who is this academy for?
- Girls and Boys in 5th - 6th and 7th - 8th grade.
- 8th grade girls who are planning on trying out at their respective high school in August.
- Players that are new to the game and looking to learn the fundamentals.
- Experienced players looking to improve their level of skill.
- Parents that are shopping around for a different club experience.
- Players that missed club tryouts or were unable to play due to other responsibilities.
- Anyone who loves this sport, wants to improve and have fun doing it.

| PARKING | Parking is available in lot L, unfortunately patrons are required to download the Passport parking app and pay for parking. If you are able to find parking on St. Louis on the west side of the street parking will be free (the east side is permit parking only). Please do NOT park in the lot directly behind the athletic building as you will receive a $100 ticket. | |

All discounts will be taken from the final payment. The Player Loyalty and Player Referral Fee may ONLY be pair with the sibling discount and not with each other. |

*Participants will be required to purchase a $12 volleykids membership from the Great Lakes Region on webpoint. Please follow the link to webpoint and create a new log in. Any player who has participated in a sanction USAV event already has a log in and would just need to sign in and purchase the volleykids membership. If the participant has participated in the 2018-19 club season and purchased a full USAV membership they would just need to provide the GL number and change their club affiliation to Evolution Volleyball Academy.
